Matte acrylic paints, water-soluble and specially designed for airbrushing. The Model Air color range includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, including colors from the World Wars and to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts regarding existing and previous military reports, aimed at providing the modeler with the highest possible historical accuracy.
Model Air can be used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prepare the surface and then apply Model Air in multiple layers. The colors dry very quickly and form a homogeneous color film with excellent durability, preserving the smallest details of the model. For airbrushing these colors, it is recommended that the compressor air pressure be 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can, of course, also be applied with a brush.
For proper maintenance of the airbrush, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended.
Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and contains no solvents.
Packaging: Model Air is supplied in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents the evaporation and drying of the paint inside the container, allowing it to be used in minimal quantities and to be stored for a long time.
