Acrylic paints, water-based, specially formulated for airbrush. The Model Air color range contains the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, including colors from World War I, World War II, and up to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts on existing and previous military references to offer the modeler the highest possible historical accuracy.
Model Air can be used directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prepare the surface and then apply Model Air in several layers. The colors dry very quickly and form a uniform paint surface with excellent durability, retaining even the finest detail of the model.
For using these colors with an airbrush, it is recommended that the compressor air pressure is 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can, of course, also be applied with a brush. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is suggested.
Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and contains no solvents.
Packaging: Model Air comes in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, allowing it to be used in minimal amounts and kept for a long time.
