Description & Specifications

Matt acrylic paints, water-based and specially designed for airbrush. The Model Air color range contains the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, including colors from World War I and II to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by experts from existing and previous military references, thus providing the modeler with the highest possible historical accuracy.

Model Air can be applied directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prime the surface and then apply Model Air in multiple layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous film of color with exceptional durability, even preserving the tiniest detail of the model.

For airbrush application, an air pressure of the Compressor at 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg is recommended. Model Air can of course also be applied with a brush. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, it is recommended to use Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.

Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and contains no solvents. For more information regarding the safety of the product, please refer to the official safety page.

Packaging: Model Air is available in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, allowing it to be used in minimal amounts and preserved for a long time.
