I use it on an XT 600. From what I have tried, I find it ideal for the gearbox mainly.. However, I believe that its lifespan is for fewer kilometers.. It is the third change I have made and I don't think I will change it.

It is the second time I buy it. The first time I changed it at 1600 kilometers (after one year). This time the oil is really disappointing. After 700 kilometers, which were done on a trip, the gears are difficult to shift.
I think I will not choose it again and of course I do not recommend it.

The 5100 10/30 oil is rubbish. I tried it out on an Integra 700cc with DCT and the gears engaged with more noise. I barely managed to keep it for 1000 kilometers and then threw it away. I put in Pro Honda 10/30 oil and the gear changes were buttery smooth from the very first ride.

      I tried it on a Yamaha xt660x.
From the first ride I took, I didn't notice any crazy difference in the gearbox and the gears.
Yes, ok, the gears engage slightly easier and the noise was a little less than what it used to be.

I tried it on a CBR 600rr and a KTM SX 250 2T and in both the gearbox became stiffer and I just had to replace it again with racing 10-60. It's not even good for relaxed gear changes in the city.
Maybe it's suitable for a small scooter.

    • I use it on a 2001 XT600 with many kilometers. I was not satisfied mainly with how long it lasts. Up to 1000-1200 kilometers it is very good but after that you can hear engine, gearbox noises, etc. At 1500 kilometers where I am now, the gears go in with a hammer. I don't know if I got a counterfeit but I don't think I will try it again either...

This review is about the viscosity: 10W-40

I have been using it for 3 years on a single-cylinder air-cooled Honda cbf 250. It's a decent oil, but it only lasts up to 1500-1700km with very relaxed city driving. Around that point, the engine starts to burn it and the noise from the engine becomes harsher. I can't say it softens the clutch. For the above reasons, without any complaints about the product, but in order to use something better, I will switch to a synthetic oil from a different brand

Tested the 15w50 in summer temperatures on a mountain in enduro and both the speeds and the engine performed well. I changed it at 1200 km on a mountain where the engine was breaking in 2nd and 3rd gears. And the oil was resistant.

Excellent lubricant for Honda Wave 110i scooter. The difference with 10-40w is noticeable. Unused, it has a nice smell due to the detergents it contains. Over time (or mileage), you can see how well it works on the engine from the color of the old oil and the cleanliness inside the engine. Recommended for fuel-injected motorcycles, and if available in the market, use it as recommended by the manufacturer and do not buy 10w-40. The reason why 10-40w is sold everywhere is purely for the benefit of the respective seller. Take care of your engines as they are expensive! Oils are inexpensive.

I have been using it for years on the XT600 machine in size 15/50. It is the best out of all the ones I have tried on this particular machine, and the difference is noticeable in the gearbox when shifting gears compared to other brands and sizes. I highly recommend it for this specific machine and similar air-cooled ones

I have put it on a crypton r 105 upgraded to 125cc and I noticed that the bike works very well and does not exceed 80 degrees (I have a temperature gauge on top). I have ridden it for about 60 kilometers and I saw that the gearbox needed a little supplement, a bit hard compared to the previous motorcycles I had. Now, if it burns everything, I don't know what to say, we'll see. After three changes, I think I found the oil that suits the bike, no absolute issue, just needs changes every 2,000 kilometers because otherwise, I don't know what could happen.

I have a Ducati Multistrada 1100, and since it is air-cooled, I see temperatures above 100°C in the summer. After I put in the Motul 10-50, the temperatures dropped by 20°C!

I find it unbelievable and I am waiting for the next heatwave to confirm, for now, they were tested at 32°C, if I see the same performance in the summer temperatures of around 40°C, I will be amazed.

I will update with the result.

The best oil for Innova if it is genuine!
Be very careful about the store where you buy it...
I have been using it in my Innova injection with 30,000km for 12 whole years and the last time I saw something like this, my eyes couldn't believe it. The oil turned into sludge after 1000 kilometers. The lubricant store where I happened to buy it obviously had counterfeit imported oils. I am referring to the 2-liter packaging.
      Update!
I also tried the remaining oil and within 100 kilometers, it turned into sludge again.

Attention to imitations, unfortunately genuine Motul oils, etc. are difficult to find. The genuine Motul 5100 is an excellent oil, at least for low-displacement motorcycles. The gear changes have improved, as well as the smoothness in shifting from first to neutral. After contacting Motul's dealership, you will find where the genuine oils are available, with a price of 10 euros per liter

Very good lubricant. It made the gearbox smoother, the engine quieter, and slightly improved performance on the Z750S. It is reliable and ideal for Greek temperatures. The only downside is that it appears transparent on the glass for several months. It turns black suddenly. But for heat and engine wear, it is the best choice. The manufacturer recommends changing it every 12,000 km. Generally, I only use Motul. I have been using it for 17 years on my scooter and already three times on the Z. Warranty.

Yes, ok, the gears engage slightly easier and the noise was a little less than what it used to be.
        Time will tell.

I don't know if I got a counterfeit but I don't think I will try it again either...

hornet 600 of 09..at first I was excited and the gears were shifting smoother and the engine was running much quieter..after 4,000 kilometers, the sound of the bike has changed and the temperature has started to rise even though it's still April..I'm going for a service at 7100 and we'll see

Reliable oil, I use it on super bikes. If the engine is pushed, it is good to change it every 3500-4500 km at most. Afterwards, the gearbox is more noticeable.

Very good oil for scooters, for use in Crypton S 115i.
Relaxed driving, without any issues, within urban areas, with very good performance as a lubricant!!!
As mentioned by many, be careful of imitations!!!
Visit Motul's website to find official representatives and distributors!!!
Only then will you have peace of mind!!!
A classic choice, maybe even the only option to buy for those who know!!!

Warranty.

      • The 5100 10/30 oil is rubbish. I tried it out on an Integra 700cc with DCT and the gears engaged with more noise. I barely managed to keep it for 1000 kilometers and then threw it away. I put in Pro Honda 10/30 oil and the gear changes were buttery smooth from the very first ride.
