The primary goal of the scientific journal Special Education, Citizenship, and Mental Health is not limited solely to highlighting the research efforts of distinguished professors/-trices at university institutions and scientists from other organizations, but also aspires to create a vibrant and "restless" space for scientific dialogue and social reflection, where pedagogical and psychological knowledge and sensitivity meet social responsibility and justice.

By bringing together different scientific approaches and fields of study, the journal aims for the proper management of the challenges as well as the opportunities of inclusive education and citizenship, the enhancement of psychological resilience, and the promotion of a culture of equality, ethical values, and most importantly, respect for the unnegotiable and unique value of every individual.

This issue aims to serve as an objective and meaningful starting point for contemporary Greek and international research in the three scientific areas indicated by the title, while also providing a pluralistic platform of knowledge, sensitivity, and creativity that will inspire and continuously renew scientific and educational dialogue in Greece and beyond.
