Val d’Oca is one of the oldest and leading producers of Prosecco wine. It was founded in 1952 and consists of 576 growers in the region with more than 7,000 acres of vineyards. Its goal is to produce superior quality wines, promoting the efforts of its members.
The terroir is the main source of inspiration for the company, which is located in one of the most atmospheric and exceptional landscapes of Italy, the hilly area between Valdobbiadene, Asolo, and Conegliano, in the province of Treviso. In fact, the Prosecco hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene have been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
90% of the vineyards offer the Glera variety (Prosecco Grape). This green-skinned grape has been cultivated for centuries in Veneto and is mainly famous for the production of sparkling Prosecco wine.
