    Pluto

    Cretan white variety; recently revived; cool, fresh, excellent with seafood.

    Melissaki

    White variety from Crete, with citrus notes; pairs well with fish and salads.

    Daphne

    Red variety from Crete, fruity and smooth, ideal for everyday red dishes.

    Mandilaria

    It produces wines with intense color, strong tannins, and moderate acidity. Its aromas are reminiscent of wild black fruits, leather, and spices. It is often blended with other varieties to soften its tannins.

    Kotsifali

    It produces wines with soft tannins, relatively low color, aromas of red fruits, spices, and licorice. Often blended with Mandilaria.

Description: The wine comes from 30-year-old organic vineyards, cultivated at an altitude of 450 meters, next to an oak forest in the ancient village of Rouma. The grapes ripened slowly, developing aromatic clarity and refreshing acidity.

  • 62% of the free-run juice was matured in wooden tanks of 600, 300, and 225 liters (90% Austrian, 10% French oak) for 9 months.
  • The remaining 38% of the wine matured in oak barrels for 2 months.
  • Bottled unfiltered.
