It's purely a matter of marketing. Yes, it is an amazing whiskey, after all, everyone associates it with some celebration, but it doesn't justify its price. Nevertheless, I like it!!

It's not worth its money at all... Just decent and it should be at most 60-70€... The Green remains the most honest.

Sweet and smooth with perfect balance in both smoke and aroma, it doesn't burn your palate, goes down like water, and pairs wonderfully with smoked cheeses, beef fillet, dried fruits, and nuts!!!

I judge it according to the money it costs and I really can't prefer it over the very good Green. Citrus aroma and a light sweetness like cinnamon. There are exceptional whiskies at much more affordable prices.

Whiskey with a surname!! Everything else is subjective and has to do with each person's taste sensation. Personally, I quite like its intense flavor

A whisky with quite a few aromas where the taste of smoke and sweetness dominates. However, its price is way too high. There are many better options at a third of its price.
Personally, I prefer the cheaper green. Overrated and overpriced.

I give it two stars because it is very overpriced. I have had much better drinks even at prices of 30-40 euros, so I can't find any reason for anyone to buy it. Only if you are a fan specifically of Johnnie and not whiskey in general. Otherwise, for me, I wasted the money I spent

After many bottles that I have consumed without always having accompanying snacks (peanuts, ice, etc.) with such drinks, it has some intensity but in taste it remains a little more elevated in quality than the classic Johnnie without anything special to make you say hmm !!!! and make you ask for it..... there are higher classes at a lower price... although this one is now around 120€. From the 180€+ it used to have and had become somewhat more attractive.. for its price, no, I would not recommend it... for 80€ it would be good.

I expected much more from this specific whiskey, but in the end, it's not worth the money. There are better options for much less. I had read reviews from experts abroad before trying it, and they said the same thing, but I didn't really believe them. However, as soon as I tried it, I understood. I didn't expect it to have the classic taste of aged Johnnie!

It's not bad.. but I expected much more... I believe that the green one is a much better value for money by far!!!
