Elastomeric couplings for precise motion transmission with resistance to torsion. The SGMβ075 couplers have an outer diameter of 135mm and a small guiding hole, suitable for accommodating shafts with a diameter of up to 75mm.

The SGMβ075 coupler forms half of the coupling, and to complete a shaft coupling, an additional half coupler SGMα065 is required. An elastic connector is also necessary, available in three colors: black, red, yellow.

  • Design of elastic connectors with specially shaped protrusions around them.
  • Combination of two cast iron parts that connect loosely.
  • Gaps are filled with a piece of elastomer material, known as 'daisy'.

The couplers ensure torque transmission without vibrations, dampening any torsional shock. They minimize torque vibrations and instantaneous vibrations.

In general, the elastic connectors with 'daisy' torque distribution and their construction material affect the coupler's response to various factors.

The advantage of elastic connectors is their design, which allows continued operation even with the destruction of the daisy, preventing critical operational interruptions.

Applications: elastic connectors are recommended for continuous operation machinery functioning with electric motors, such as pumps and gearboxes.
