The present work is an updated and enriched edition of the old album of the University of Patras. It briefly presents the prehistory, the founding, the development, and the prospects of the University of Patras.

The first section introduces the city of Patras and its cultural treasures. This is followed by the prehistory up to the founding of the University of Patras in 1964, its commencement of operation in 1966, and then the continuous administrative, academic, and infrastructural development of the university, with new Departments, Schools, and Institutes.

A separate section presents the key Units of the Institution, the Research Institutes, the Science Park, the University Hospital, and the Museums. Finally, an Appendix includes tables related to the human geography of the university, its academic profile, its administrations, international rankings, and more.
