This particular straightener is perfect, and most importantly, it straightens my hair without burning it... I haven't found anything negative about this straightener... I am absolutely satisfied!!!

Super performance for the money! It straightens and curls perfectly. The only downside is that it needs quite a few uses before the “plastic” smell goes away.

I had it and it was very good. It broke and I got exactly the same one and it is terrible. My mother said the same thing when she got a new one. It’s as if they’ve made it worse. The plates don’t close properly and it pulls the hair.

and both that I have bought have broken down in 2 years.. I don't know about the next one maybe I'll get another, if it didn't break early generally it is good

The straightener has left me absolutely satisfied. It does exactly what it promises: straightens hair quickly, easily, and with a very good result that lasts. The ceramic plates glide smoothly through the hair and the temperature is easily adjustable according to my needs.

Honestly, I don't understand why GHD straighteners are considered so superior as to justify the big price difference. Having used this particular Remington for quite some time, I haven't felt that I'm missing anything or that the result could be noticeably better. It heats up quickly, is reliable, and does its job perfectly.

For its price, I consider it an excellent choice and one of the best purchases I've made for my hair care. If you're looking for an effective straightener without spending a small fortune, I recommend it without a second thought.

Terribly negative experience, I had the older one from the company with the wide plates which was amazing. This one makes your hair like straw, it burns it, you can't understand what is going so wrong. I will give it away.

Probably the rave reviews refer to the expensive model of this particular company. The budget one is not good at all: it doesn't straighten hair quickly, it has a strange smell, and I'm still not sure about the extent of the damage it causes. The Bellissima (of similar cost) definitely did a better job.

I've had it since 2022 and it's still alive! I had mainly bought it for excursions and trips, as it is convenient to carry, and for its price it's worth it, it also makes curls.

It is lightweight, convenient, and safe in its case. It makes the hair silky with 1-2 passes. I hope it lasts me for years, but if I had to buy again, I would choose this one again. :-)

I use it on curly hair and to be sure I set the function to 220°C (always apply heat protectant beforehand to protect your hair). The hair straightens in 2-3 passes which is really perfect. The best value for money option in private.

It makes the hair perfectly straight without exaggeration and I have wavy hair that frizzes very easily. Also, it doesn't burn the hair... it's the best, I have no words!

I bought it for the first time in 2017. I had it for years before I gave it away. After many straighteners (Alea Therapy, Demeliss Titanium, Izzy Steam Pro, Remington Silk) I returned to this one. I have fine but thick hair, straight up to the jaw and then it turns into curls, long down to the waist, generally very frizzy. All the other straighteners only seemed to straighten my hair, it was puffy and the straightening didn't last. This particular one was the only one that actually tamed my hair to a great extent and made it smooth and shiny. So as soon as I bought it again, given its price as well, it's a no-brainer. And since I generally have difficult hair, let me point something out: whatever straightener you get, if you don't choose the right products for your hair's needs and don't take proper care beforehand, don't expect them to work miracles for you!

It is not as good as an older one I had (of equal value - quality). A major drawback is that it does not turn off by itself after some time; for example, if you forget it on, it will keep working indefinitely with the risk of a possible fire...

In general, it straightens just fine and relatively quickly, without needing many passes. Note that I have a lot of hair, long and thick strands. The only negative is that it had a smell like burnt plastic from the start, even before it was used. I have used the product 3 times and after each use my hair also smells like burnt plastic. Is it because it is 'new'? If anyone has had a similar experience, please reply to my review.

I've had it for a short time. I have easy hair so I can't know if it's that good. For me, it straightens my hair immediately. What I liked is that it makes a sound when it's ready for use. I had the steam pro from Izzy, but it exploded in my hands and I didn't want the same one, so I got this one. It's a simple straightener, nothing special. I haven't managed to make curls, maybe because the bottom part doesn't heat up. I will definitely get one with steam again.

For its price, it is excellent. I have had it for more than a year and it has been very convenient for me. Whether straightening or curling, it does both very well and the results last. I would buy it again.
