You open the SteelSeries GG, go to the engine tab, click on the headphones, and turn off the mic sidetone, problem solved! No more noise, static, or hissing. The mic sidetone option has four settings: off, low, medium, and high, and it is there to adjust how much you want to hear your voice from the microphone in the headphones along with other sounds like game audio or music, but it creates noise as you increase it towards high while simultaneously increasing the volume from the potentiometer located on the right headphone. By setting it to off, you completely solve the problem with the noise; you just don't hear your voice at all through the headphones but outside of them. One solution is to set it to low and reduce the mic sidetone volume from the potentiometer, but if you want to avoid noise altogether, you set it to off and you're done. Personally, I don't see a reason to hear my voice through the headphones; after all, I can hear it while I speak... it shouldn't happen, of course, for headphones costing 150 euros, but there is a solution, let's not create a wrong impression of the product. I will return in the future with a more detailed review.

Η επιλογή mic sidetone έχει τέσσερις ρυθμίσεις, off, low, medium και high και υπάρχει για να ρυθμίζεις κατά πόσο θέλεις να ακούς την φωνή σου από το μικρόφωνο μέσα στα ακουστικά μαζί με τους υπόλοιπους ήχους πχ του παιχνιδιού ή της μουσικής αλλά δημιουργεί παράσιτα όσο ανεβαίνεις προς το high και ταυτόχρονα αυξάνεις την ένταση του από το ποτενσιόμετρο που βρίσκεται στο δεξί ακουστικό. Βάζοντας το στο off λύνεις τελείως το πρόβλημα με τα παράσιτα απλά δεν ακούς καθόλου την φωνή σου μέσα από τα ακουστικά αλλά έξω από αυτά. Μια λύση είναι να το βάλεις στο low και να μειώσεις την ένταση του mic sidetone από το ποτενσιόμετρο αλλά αν θέλεις να αποφύγεις τελείως τα παράσιτα το βάζεις στο off και καθάρισες. Προσωπικά δεν βρίσκω λόγο να ακούω την φωνή μου μέσα από τα ακουστικά, την ακούω άλλωστε καθώς μιλάω..κακώς συμβαίνει βέβαια για ακουστικά των 150 ευρώ αλλά λύση υπάρχει, μην δημιουργούμε λάθος εντυπώσεις για το προϊόν.
