Boutari Goumenissa is a dry red wine with PDO status, made from Xinomavro and Negoska grapes. It has a medium, bright red color and aromas of ripe red fruit and dried figs, which become more pronounced when swirled in the glass. Its tannins and herbal character, with notes of tomato, shape the finish.
The 1993 vintage has been aged under controlled temperature and humidity conditions. It pairs well with red meat, pasta, and pizza.
