The Areti dry red wine from Biblia Chora Estate is made from the Greek Agiorgitiko grape variety, in a successful “escape” for the variety from the Nemea region. After cold maceration at 6 °C for a few days, it undergoes traditional red vinification and is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
It has a deep red colour with violet highlights and intense aromas of wild cherry, cherry jam and berries, complemented by notes of chocolate, vanilla and spices. Full-bodied on the palate, with rounded tannins and cherry aromas, it has a long, fruity finish. Serve at 16–18 °C.
