Kosta Lazaridi Estate Chateau Julia Chardonnay is a dry white wine made from Chardonnay grapes grown in a vineyard in Drama, on a north-facing slope at an altitude of 200–300 m with alkaline clay soil. Pre-fermentation maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks bring out the characteristics of the grape variety and the vineyard, while the wine has no contact with oak barrels. It has a straw-yellow color with greenish highlights and floral and fruity aromas, with notes of jasmine, pineapple, banana, and citrus.
On the palate, it combines refreshing acidity with power and good structure, while its fruity profile is accompanied by a persistent finish. It pairs with shellfish, fish with herbs or light sauces, white meats, semi-hard cheeses, pasta, pizza, vegetables, and legumes, and can also be served as an aperitif.
