My doctor recommended it because of a deficiency shown in my blood tests. From the first capsule, I started getting a severe headache that wouldn’t go away with any painkiller. I take D3 due to osteopenia and asthma. I decided to try another company's product because of the low cost, but you get what you pay for. After 1 week of taking it, I started having a cough and pain in my left hip. I didn't understand why, and for 2 months while I was taking this particular vitamin, the pain in my left hip continued and I was using Aerolin. I thought that the only change I made was the brand of D3. I stopped it, went back to Lambert, which is indeed twice the price, but the hip pain stopped, and so did the need for Aerolin.
