Key features:
The dual-action mechanism advances the pencil tip from the body and retracts it to protect the lead from breaking
See Description & SpecificationsUsers consider it a high-quality, durable mechanical pencil that writes smoothly and has a lead that rarely breaks. It’s suitable for everyday notes and writing, as well as quick sketches. However, some users report that it can break where the upper part connects to the lower part.
It is one of the good pencils. Quality. For everyday writing and sketching, I prefer it over the Rotring 800.
I wonder why no one mentioned the automatic lead advance mechanism as you write.
This is the 3rd one I buy (2 broke at the same spot - down where it screws - I don't know how).
Even though I did not buy it for design (which is probably the original design of it) it is used for notes on remote reading pages (70-100 pages) because it writes thickly without double writing. The tips are also difficult to break at this thickness (it has not happened yet).
Both this and the 0.7mm are among the best mechanical pencils. Perfect in writing with a 2B lead.
I have had this pencil since 2016 and it is amazing. Ideal for quick sketches, due to its thick tip.
