Description

Description

This collective volume focuses on the ideologically charged issue of Greek-Albanian relations, which is linked not only to the weight and legacy of the Civil War but also to persistent irredentist views and nationalisms of the early 20th century.

The authors' problematic situates the topics under examination within their Balkan and global contexts. The eleven authors, mostly historians, cover a wide range of approaches to the relations between the two countries: from political and diplomatic history to the study of mentalities, ideological positions, and practices that are still in effect today in the two neighboring countries.

This is the first time in Greek literary production that there is a contribution from researchers from both states on this critical issue.
