Description & Specifications

In recent years, the systematic study of football has demonstrated the importance of set pieces regardless of the level and gender of the participants or the tournament they are competing in, both for scoring goals and for the final outcome of the match.

Despite their significance, there seems to be a gap in the current literature on football, which this book hopes to fill. Its aim is to provide a holistic approach to the subject, offering scientific knowledge as well as the theoretical background that every football coach should possess regarding set pieces.

Importantly, the book examines both the offensive and defensive functions of the team during set pieces, while also emphasizing the preparation for the next phase, that is, the offensive or defensive transition.

At the same time, the book offers a large number of routines (exercise catalog) that coaches can incorporate into their training sessions to effectively prepare their players in practice. For a better understanding of these routines, the book is accompanied by animations that you can view on your mobile/tablet by scanning the QRCODE.
