First of all, I have to say that I generally support Greek wines, and especially producers like Vinifera who start with passion and love for wine and not for business and money. From the bottle to the cork, the label, and the wine itself, it is a very well-crafted product that objectively will not disappoint anyone. The wine itself, on the other hand, is completely subjective if you like it. It gave me notes of red fruits, etc. etc. (I don't really know about those things). Long story short, as they say in my village, it has a very nice taste and aroma when you swirl the glass like the connoisseurs do, which doesn't "bite" you like other wines with their alcohol. It has a nice color, a deep, pure red that inspires you to drink it. Finally, it is not a very well-known wine, and wherever you take it as a gift, it will definitely be liked, but it will also make you appear knowledgeable! (It's not very expensive either, I bought it for 25€.)
Καταρχάς να πω ότι στηρίζω γενικά τα ελληνικά κρασιά, και ειδικά παραγωγούς σαν την Βινίφερα οι οποίοι ξεκινάνε με μεράκι και αγάπη για το κρασί και όχι για το μπίζνες και τα λεφτά. Από το μπουκάλι μέχρι τον φελλό, την ετικέτα αλλά και το ίδιο το κρασί είναι ένα πολύ προσεγμένο προϊόν το οποίο αντικειμενικά δεν θα απογοητεύσει κανέναν. Το κρασί το ίδιο αντιθέτως, είναι τελείως υποκειμενικό αν αρέσει. Εμένα μου έβγαλε νότες κόκκινων φρούτων κτλ. κτλ. (δεν ξέρω από αυτά βασικά). Long story short, που λένε και στο χωριό μου, έχει πολύ ωραία γεύση και μυρωδιά όταν στριφογυρνάς το ποτήρι όπως κάνουν οι γνώστες, που δεν σε "τσιμπάει" σαν άλλα κρασιά με το οινόπνευμα του. Έχει ωραίο χρώμα, έτσι βαθύ καθαρό κόκκινο που σε εμπνέει να το πιεις. Τέλος, δεν είναι πολύ γνωστό κρασί και όπου το πάτε δώρο θα αρέσει σίγουρα, αλλά θα σας κάνει να φανείτε και ψαγμένοι! (δεν είναι και πολύ ακριβό, 25€ το πήρα.)
