Description & Specifications

Vitex Velatura white primer for varnish paints is an alkyd, solvent-based product for preparing wooden surfaces and walls before applying varnish paint. It creates a surface ready for a final coat of Vitex water- or solvent-based varnish paint, and is easy to apply and sand. Suitable for interior surfaces.

Apply in one or two coats using a roller or brush, diluted 3% with Brush Thinner T 300, or with an airless spray gun, diluted 3% with Spray Gun Thinner T 350. Touch-dry in 2–3 hours and recoat after 16–18 hours. Once fully dry, sand the surface and remove the dust. Do not apply at temperatures below 5 °C or above 35 °C, or at relative humidity above 80%.
