On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe, candied citrus, beeswax, toasted nuts, butter and vanilla. It is full-bodied, mature and vibrant on the palate, with good concentration and a persistent finish, and has aging potential.

Pairs with hard cheeses such as Arseniko from Naxos, Ladotyri and fresh Santorini cheese, large fatty fish, and meats with white sauces. It also goes well with bottarga and sea urchin.
