Description & Specifications

The continuous search into the past for modern ideas brought to “life” an alternative form of rosé Moschofilero. With spontaneous fermentation, unfiltered, with minimal addition of sulfur, Hoof & Lur is Troupis winery’s tribute to the wines created on the Mantineia plateau for centuries.

Vinified with indigenous yeasts, a part of the must ferments together with the skins and the rest in ceramic pots and concrete tanks. The fermentation is followed by aging on the lees for 3 months where the wine gradually clarifies to be bottled raw and unfiltered.

Light salmon with mild copper notes, it exudes flowers, mandarin, powdered sugar, and dried herbs. On the palate, the sharp acidity is followed by an intense citrus flavor and a slightly astringent, long aftertaste with mineral notes.
