Noopolitics (noopolitics or Noopolitik) is "the conduct of politics in the informational-spiritual field that is created by the communication between consciousnesses and by the relationship between consciousness and the world." As educated humanity increasingly realizes the superiority of noopolitics over geopolitics, and as information, particularly knowledge, is recognized as the most important resource in both the economy and military theory, metaphysics (or ontology)—that is, the investigation of the nature of being, existence, and reality—is restored to its old throne as the queen of human spiritual activities.
In his book, philosopher and noopolitics advisor Dr. Nikolaos Laos proposes and clarifies a transition from the distorted Thucydideanism, the mechanistic way of thinking, and the political legacy of the failed Great Powers of history—which haunt modern political thought—to an updated rediscovery of Platonic philosophy and the theology of the medieval Greek hesychasts, and from there to a Greek strategic vision for globalization and a general revision of modern political theory, in general, and international relations theory, in particular.
The book—serving as a comprehensive manual of noopolitics and intercultural relations—explores all the fundamental issues of philosophy, psychology, political science, international politics, and religious studies in a unified and synthetic manner, as required in the context of the science and art of noopolitics.
