A 'second' Grand Cru Classé from the Margaux region, specifically from the village of Cantenac. Brane-Cantenac is considered one of the softest and lightest Margaux wines on the palate, even within the general elegance that the region offers. Since 1992, when Henri Lurton took the helm, Brane-Cantenac acquired a more exuberant personality.
In 2015, the climatic conditions were ideal throughout the cycle, and particularly favorable in the Margaux appellation during the ripening period. Therefore, the harvest conditions were excellent, allowing for the collection of each variety in each vineyard at their optimal ripeness.
The wines have great aromatic richness and wonderful tannic structure. They mature for 18 months in 70% French barrels.
