What do users say? AI-generated summary

Users find it fun to play and appreciate the new factions, which add depth and variety to Smash Up. It’s especially enjoyable with friends and offers more combination options. However, opinions are divided on whether it works as a standalone game, and multiplayer sessions can feel slow for beginners.

The perfect continuation of kaissa in the dubbed smash up.

Why you should get it: you can play first to two victories having pre-selected 3 decks (6 factions each) as the total number of factions with the base game is now 12.

Not recommended on its own under any circumstances.

Not recommended for more than 4 players unless they know the game well.

We had the original and we got the expansion. I don't recommend getting it without the original. The new factions offer more depth to the game but okay.. I can't say we went crazy about it.

This expansion includes some new races and some tokens for point counting. It can be played with 6 players, but it is not recommended for their first time. They should start with 2 or 3 in each game because they will get bored waiting to read and decide on the cards. It can also be played without the base set, not in its full variety obviously, but it can be played. The rules say so too.
