We have had it for almost 2 years. Although I prefer bagless vacuums, the fact that it doesn't produce much noise convinced us to buy it, because we have two babies and they were very scared of the noise. It was tested in the store among 2 other vacuums and we ended up choosing this one. I should emphasize that due to advancements in suction technology, watts are no longer representative of the performance.
Pros: Quite a few attachments for most everyday applications at home. Low noise. Strong suction to the point that it can lift the carpet off the floor if you set the intensity to maximum. Filter in the motor and at the outlet to minimize the expulsion of small dust particles into the room, both are removable.
Cons: The build quality is very poor, the lid is cheap and looks fragile, you'll see this when opening it. The lid has a hook that locks, the problem is that it doesn't always lock properly. To close the lid, the bag must be placed in such a way that it "spreads" throughout the bag's space; otherwise, it will have reduced performance. Also, if the bag is not spread out, the lid doesn't close properly and many times it can catch the corner of the bag, resulting in reduced performance again. The bag has a plastic frame with "ears" at the hole that holds it in place and theoretically aligns the inlet hole of the hose. Here lies one of the main problems as it doesn't align properly and dust passes into the bag's space, which collects in the motor filter, resulting in reduced performance after a little use. I remove the hose after the bag is in and the lid is closed, and pull it into the correct position.
The motor filter needs to be blown out at regular intervals to keep it clean for free airflow so that the vacuum can perform at its best. The second filter, which is at the top and where the air exits, is paper-type like those used in car filters. This also needs frequent cleaning to unclog (which is reasonable) and after some use, it needs to be replaced as it gets clogged so much that even with blowing, the vacuum cannot perform. Finally, this specific model has another filter right after the motor. The downside is that this cannot be removed for cleaning or replacement. After some use, it clogs quite a bit and the vacuum has reduced performance. Personally, I had to disassemble the entire vacuum to blow and wash this filter, a relatively easy process if you are handy, but it still adds another hassle.
Conclusion: A vacuum that is quite powerful for home use, which requires good internal cleaning of the filters approximately every 2-3 hours of use, and after about 8 hours of use, they need to be replaced. Of course, the user manual may mention how often they need to be changed; personally, I didn't read it and can't tell you, but again it requires very regular maintenance to perform like the first time. My personal conclusion is that for use once or twice a week it is good; for more frequent use, no. I don't have experience with similar vacuums (with bags) to compare and tell you. However, if I were to buy one now, I would buy a bagless model.
