They are very relaxed on the foot (no, I didn't get the wrong size, yes, I tighten my laces) and they are not for long walks, especially until your foot gets used to them. They have some weight but I wouldn't call it heavy. Quite noisy, you walk and it sounds like you're wearing boots. The quality-price ratio is excellent. I gave a pair as a gift to a relative two years ago and the only wear and tear is a few scratches on the front from heavy use. Mine are almost like new after 6 months, I just need to regularly clean the insides because they easily get blackened.
