I had it for over 1+ year (it broke after an accident with water). It's worth its money. It has a screen that shows signal quality, battery level with bars, data consumption, and alarms. The only negative thing was that the battery didn't last very long, around 4 hours, but that's not a big problem, anyway whichever you get doesn't last much longer. I got a tplink 7200 afterwards and I'm disappointed. Whether you charge the Huawei simultaneously (the tplink heats up and shuts down until it cools down) or you have a power bank outside.

This is a big disadvantage if you always want 4G (where there is network coverage, of course). Don't get it through a mobile company if you are interested in this option. The only negative thing was that the battery didn't last very long, around 4 hours, but that's not a big problem, anyway whichever you get doesn't last much longer. I got a tplink 7200 afterwards and I'm disappointed. Whether you charge the Huawei simultaneously (the tplink heats up and shuts down until it cools down) or you have a power bank outside.
Tο ειχα πανω απο 1+ χρονο (χαλασε μετα απο ατυχημα με νερο). αξιζει τα λεφτα του. εχει οθονη που λεει την ποιοτητα σηματος,ποσοτητα μπαταριας με μπαρες,καταναλωση δεδομενων και αλαρμ.το μονο αρνητικο ηταν οτι δεν κρατουσε παρα πολυ η μπαταρια του γυρο στις 4 ωρες αλλα αυτο δεν ειναι μεγαλο προβλημα, ετσι και αλλιως οποιο και να παρετε δεν κραταει και για πολυ παραπανω. Πηρα ενα tplink 7200 επειτα και ειμαι απογοητευμενος. ΤΤο Huawei ειτε το φορτηζεις συγχρονως(το tplink ζεστενεται και σβηνει μεχρι να κρυωσει) ειτε εξω εχεις power bank.

Ειναι ευκολοχρηστο απλο και πολυ γρηγορο σε ταχυτητα 4g μεχρι 83mbps!Αλλαζετε οτι θελετε μεσα απο το μενου, απο ονομα μεχρι κι απο 4g --> 3g για οσους θελουν να επιλεξουν ποιο απο τα δυο θελουν, επισης ρυθμιζετε τα παντα, οπως πχ. για να βλεπετε ποσα gb καταναλωνετε καθε μηνα, μπειτε στο playstore και κατεβαστε στο κινητο σας το huawei hilink, η αλλιως μπειτε μεσω ιντερνετ στην ip 192.168.8.1.Το καλυτερο απο ολα ειναι το ποσο καλη ληψη εχει, σε συγκριση με 3 τηλεφωνα ειχε σημα(3g) ενω τα αλλα ηταν εκτος δικτυου(κοσμοτε).
I got it as part of the wind package. Good signal and good 3g/4g switching. However, as my friend mentioned earlier, there is no option for 4G, only 3G. This is a big disadvantage if you always want 4G (where there is network coverage, of course). Don't get it through a mobile company if you are interested in this option. Otherwise, it is a decent tool for its price.
P.S. I would appreciate it if my friend who mentioned earlier could explain how he made it work on 4G only. I couldn't find any reliable guide online or through firmware.
Το πηρα με πακετο της wind . Καλο σημα και καλη εναλλαγη 3g/4g. ΟΜΟΣ οπως λεει και φιλος απο πιο πριν δεν εχει εεπιλογη για 4G H 3G only. Μεγαλο μειονεκτημα αν θες 4g παντα ( οπου υπαρχει δικτυο βεβαια). Μην το παρετε μεσω εταιρειας κινητης αν σας ενδιαφερει οπωσδηποτε αυτη η επιλογη. Κατα τα αλλα ειναι ενα τιμιο εργαλειο για τα λεφτα του.
ΥΓ. Θα ημουν υποχρεως αν εγραφε ο φιλος πιο πριν πως το εκανε να δουλεψει σε 4g only. Δεν βρηκα καποιον αξιολογο οδηγο στο νετ ουτε μεσω firmware.
I bought it branded from Cosmote (due to its lower price, around 69€), but it works very well with a Vodafone SIM card, as long as you correct the automatically created Vodafone APN. It is a very good and fast device. It has very good management through the Web UI and alternatively through the Huawei HiLink app. The only thing that disappointed me compared to an older model from the same company, as well as the very good TP-LINK M7350 that I also own, is that strangely there is no setting in the E5577cs for changing the network mode, i.e. whether you will be on 2G/3G/4G or if the device will choose automatically. It is permanently set to automatic, and the automatic switching works quite well, depending on the network coverage. There is of course a way to manually change the network mode, but it is a whole process and takes time, something that can be directly adjusted from the device's screen in other modems.
The process of selecting the network mode, such as 4G only, 3G only, etc., can be done either through the application or through the device's WebUI. You choose the manual network selection option, and when you go to select, it gives you options for each band separately, e.g. Cosmote 4G, Cosmote 3G, Cosmote 2G, etc. You choose whatever you want and the device stays there. It is somewhat inconvenient in this area as other modems from the same company are much more flexible.
Other than that, it is a very decent device, with a very powerful transmitter-receiver and a very strong WiFi, which is the most important thing in such devices. And of course, at this price, it is truly a bargain.
Το πήρα branded από Cosmote (λόγω χαμηλότερης τιμής, κοντά στα 69€), δουλεύει όμως πολύ καλά και με κάρτα Vodafone, αρκεί να διορθώσεις το APN της Vodafone που δημιουργείται αυτόματα. Πολύ καλή και γρήγορη συσκευή. Πολύ καλή διαχείριση μέσω Web UI και εναλλακτικά μέσω του HiLink app της Huawei. Το μόνο που με ξένισε σε σχέση με ένα παλιότερο μοντέλο της ίδιας εταιρίας, αλλά και με το πολύ καλό TP-LINK M7350 που επίσης έχω στην κατοχή μου, είναι ότι περιέργως δεν υπάρχει πουθενά στις ρυθμίσεις του Ε5577cs κάποια ρύθμιση για να αλλάξεις τη λειτουργία του δικτύου, δηλαδή αν θα είσαι σε 2G/3G/4G ή θα διαλέγει η συσκευή αυτόματα. Είναι μονίμως στο αυτόματο, και μάλιστα δουλεύει αρκετά καλά η αυτόματη εναλλαγή, ανάλογα με την κάλυψη του δικτύου. Υπάρχει βέβαια τρόπος να αλλάξεις χειροκίνητα τη λειτουργία δικτύου, αλλά έχει ολόκληρη διαδικασία και παίρνει ώρα, κάτι που σε άλλα μόντεμ ρυθμίζεται κατευθείαν από την οθόνη της συσκευής.
Διαδικασία επιλογής δικτύου 4G only, 3G only κλπ: είτε από το application είτε από το WebUI της συσκευής, διαλέγεις χειροκίνητη επιλογή δικτύου, και όταν πας να επιλέξεις, σου δίνει επιλογές για κάθε μπάντα ξεχωριστά, π.χ. Cosmote 4G, Cosmote 3G, Cosmote 2G κλπ. Διαλέγεις ό,τι θες και η συσκευή μένει εκεί. Κάπως δύσχρηστο σ' αυτό τον τομέα καθώς άλλα modems της ίδιας εταιρίας είναι πολύ πιο ευέλικτα.
Κατά τα άλλα είναι μια πολύ αξιοπρεπής συσκευή, με πολύ δυνατό πομποδέκτη, πολύ δυνατό WiFi, πράγμα που είναι το πιο σημαντικό σε τέτοιες συσκευές. Και εννοείται στην τιμή αυτή είναι πραγματικά ευκαιρία.
