I read on the Internet that if you don’t want your BMW to burn oil, then you should use the genuine company oil. The person who wrote this said he owns a BMW workshop and has done many tests... He convinced me, so I decided to follow his advice. So, in the used BMW I bought with 180,000 kilometers, I put 5/30 BMW oil and it doesn’t burn a drop... I changed the oil at 11,000 kilometers because the advice from the BMW App is to change it once a year or every 10,000 kilometers, which I didn’t expect since the oil is synthetic and I thought it would last longer, as is the case with most others... But if you want your car’s engine to run well, change the oil once a year no matter what, and always use a new oil filter with every change...

I bought it for my BMW Z4, 3.0 (2009) that I have because it "asked" me to fill 1 liter of oil (probably they didn't put enough in the service...? I don't know).
I called the dealership, and they told me EUR 18-20 per liter, plus I had to make an appointment, go there, wait, etc...
I went on Skroutz and found it for EUR 9/liter! I bought 2 liters, with the same amount of money (with free shipping), and they delivered them to my house without me taking a step. The process of filling the oil took 1 minute (I had never done it before, but it was easy to find where the oil goes, and even easier to open the valve).

After 7000km - 4 months, it still remains blonde. 0.7L of oil burned during this period, but searching on the internet and with the dealership service, this specific turbo engine that used the oil has this tendency.

I had used Aral 5w-30, but switching to Bmw significantly reduced the noise and the engine operation sounds smoother. Excellent lubricant!

The best oil for BMW, I had Castrol Edge for years. This one is better when the engine is cold. I have also tried Valvoline, at the price it is now, under 9€, it is the best there is. Buy without fear. (Engine N43B20A)

Excellent. Used on a 4-cylinder M43 1.9 engine. The "knife" loss of lubricant has stopped and the engine runs noticeably quieter and smoother. Compared to Motul 6100 and Castrol Edge, it is significantly better, especially after months of use. Obviously, the only lubricant I will use from now on.

It is the genuine BMW oil that dealerships use. I prefer it for every oil change, I am completely satisfied and I highly recommend it.

Stopped the oil burning, which the car was experiencing until then and was using Motul 10w40. BMW 6-cylinder engine, Euro 4. Possibly some additives of lubricant and gasoline that I used simultaneously contributed. Additionally, the engine became quiet, if that says anything
