    I bought it mainly to experiment with DIY projects and repairs on old electrical appliances that I have at my cottage, as well as to remove capacitors, etc. from non-working devices.
    In the package, there is a piece of aluminum that you bend and use as a base for the neck to rest on. It does NOT have what is shown in the photo.
    It takes about 10 minutes to heat up, personally I think it's too long.
    It is made in Sofia, Bulgaria...
    Anyone who has made purchases from the neighboring country knows very well that they are not known for the quality of anything you buy.
    After about 5 hours of use at most (total hours of use), the tip has melted and corroded almost a third... with each use, I notice the difference and it seems like the rubber is gradually coming off the handle.
    Very bad product, I'm sure that the Chinese ones will be of much better quality.
