In 3 years and 2 months, my UPS sent me a message to replace it. The battery still holds because I have at least 2 minutes of autonomy (which is needed for the full backup of Facebook to give to the house), so I will keep it.
I will not buy the same one because it had two batteries like these Vision CP1270E for €14 and they sell it as APC with a cover, cables, and stickers. I kept the cables and the cover from the old one to do the conversion quietly.
If I can't find the Vision, I will buy two similar ones for about €30.
It's overpriced and the APC name is not worth the extra €70.
Στα 3 χρόνια και 2 μήνες μου έβγαλε μήνυμα το UPS να την αντικαταστήσω.
Η μπαταρία αντέχει ακόμα γιατί έχω τουλάχιστον 2' αυτονομία (που χρειάζεται το full backup του ΦΒ να δώσει στο σπίτι) οπότε θα την κρατήσω.
Δεν πρόκειται να πάρω την ίδια αφού μέσα είχε δύο μπαταρίες τέτοιες Vision CP1270E των €14 ευρώ και με ένα καπάκι, καλώδια και αυτοκόλλητα την πουλάνε για APC. Κράτησα τα καλώδια και το καπάκι απο την παλιά για να κάνω τη μετατροπή με την ησυχία μου.
Αν δε βρώ τη vision θα πάρω δύο παρόμοιες με περίπου €30
Πανάκριβη και το όνομα APC δεν αξίζει τα €70 παραπάνω...

It lasts at least 4 years, this is the second one I am replacing (so I have had the UPS for 8 years) and I have had no issues at all. It has more than paid for itself. And when I need a new UPS, obviously I will go for APC again.

The bad thing is that every 3-4 years the battery needs to be changed, but you know that from the beginning, the application also states that it is recommended to change it after 3 years. It definitely depends on the use of the Ups, for example, it covers its costs for me.
