Description

Our country, the continent to which we geographically, culturally, historically, and politically belong, our world, the economic and social system that governs the vital functions of humanity, all of these are in a transitional state, in crisis. However, we find ourselves in what we considered unthinkable. The constants of yesterday no longer project into tomorrow and certainties have given way to multifaceted awkwardness. Mechanisms that just a few months earlier were presented as a guarantee for prosperity are transforming into cannibalistic systems that decide who will live, who will die, who will cross the threshold of destitution, who will benefit from the destruction of their neighbor. Capitalism has always contained hell. At regular intervals, it opens its door. Within a few years, the blessing with which capitalism endowed the European powers turned into a curse. It first led them to the domination of the entire world and then, immediately after, to endless competitions, conflicts, and wars. The peoples of Europe went from the illusion of being "blessed by history" to the state of being permanently "cursed": millions died in wars, others were impoverished, others were brutalized by Nazism, colonialism, and cannibalism. Europe bled itself and the entire world to a degree that the history of mankind had never seen before.
