    It is a simple splitter, it doesn't make sense to have the same image on 2 screens. Every time the PC is turned on, both screens have to be disconnected and reconnected to the splitter, otherwise they automatically play at a very low resolution. On the plus side, if you connect a TV instead of a PC monitor, the TV plays in DVI quality even if it has lower capabilities than the PC monitor. But again, whenever the PC is turned on again, you have to plug and unplug the DVI cables on the splitter.
