    I bought 2 regular batteries (GP 850mAh) for a Panasonic cordless phone in the summer of 2014. Last year (2017), I was ready to replace them because after 3 years, they had deteriorated a lot and no longer charged.
    By mistake, I left the cordless phone in its charger all night in a place where the sun hit it in the morning. When I realized it, I quickly took them out and they were "dead" and burning. However, after that, they charged normally and I still use them!!!
    Now, after more than 4 years, they have dropped to about 2/3 of their capacity again... Of course, even if I had to replace them after 3 years, I would still give them 5 stars. For 4.5 euros, I think they were more than enough!
