Excellent cream with very good blade glide, perfect protection, a very nice scent, and it leaves a perfect feeling after shaving

It is a classic well-known shaving cream... with perhaps a bit too much hype.
It is not a soap, maybe because it is a bit thick and that might confuse some people, but it is not the same as soap. You can take some with your finger and put it in the bowl, which you can't do with soap.

This is a purely subjective opinion since everyone has different skin; for me, it doesn't leave a nice result as I have tight skin.

A big downside is that it needs quite a bit of work to achieve a good lather, which makes it relatively difficult, especially if you are a beginner. Also, you definitely need a bowl. I prefer soap where a bowl is not necessary—you make the lather directly on your face.

Crazy value for money. Unfortunately, some underestimate it due to its low price. However, it is truly an amazing soap!

If you have trouble with the lather, one method that always works:

Put a little soap in the bowl. Shake your brush completely and start rubbing the soap with circular and straight motions. Once it spreads in the bowl, just dip the tips of your brush in water and repeat. (don’t add water with your hand because it’s easy to mess up and add too much water than necessary)

Good and economical. Its foam needs a bit more work on the face, as it comes out a bit watery but it's a minor issue. The scent is below average but the protection is adequate.

It is good and very economical. Its strong point is its very nice and unique scent. However, in terms of performance, it is not as good as the expensive ones in the category.

Although I have no previous experience with a similar product other than Nivea cream, I like it. Both the scent and the job it does.

If it had a price around 20 euros (for the 150 ml), people would appreciate it more and no one would say that it isn't worth it. It is one of the 4-5 standard soaps/creams that everyone should have before starting experiments. Cella, Tabac, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Haslinger Sheepmilk.

Low price, but mediocre quality. Coming from Fine Accoutrements American Blend soap, the lather seemed noticeably inferior. It's not bad, don't get me wrong. It gets the job done.

After researching soaps and shaving creams and reading good reviews about this particular product, I decided to buy it. Today, on my first use, I was very satisfied. In combination with Parker Semi slant razor and Gillette platinum blade, the result was exceptional. It is truly value for money and I recommend it for purchase because of the moisturizing oils it contains compared to soaps I have used in the past like Tabac and Haslinger (sheep). Cella is a superior quality product. Cella is perfect, period

First time I used it, I didn't get any razor bumps before you say anything, I even got a good razor, a safety razor with very good blades. But the foam was of poor quality from the supermarket. So, my friends, get it and you'll be saved. And the smell is something else.

Good foam and price, but not for those with sensitive skin like me (obviously the almond oil did the job). Not from me.

Very nice scent for those who like amaretto or Disaronno drinks. It is an effective soap and very easy to use. Especially for its price, it is one of the best! Try it together with the red aftershave.

The scent is subjective whether you will like it, but I really can't imagine someone who can't stand the richness.

Beloved soap with many & only friends. Not unjustly. It has & does everything. Nice packaging, large quantity at a very low price for its quality. It creates a very good lather, has very good slip, good protection with moderate to good post-shave. Its scent is very intense, bitter almond (amaretto) & whether you will like it or not is subjective.

Honest choice and nice scent (for those who like almond). For the money, it is one of the top choices for those entering the world of wet shaving. It lathers easily and works relatively well with open comb razors. Are there better soaps than this one? Definitely yes!!!

Very good soap with a pleasant almond scent. The quality-price ratio is excellent and it is generally recommended for those who want to start traditional shaving now, but also for those who do not want to spend a lot of money on creams and soaps. It is 150g and yields approximately 50 shaves (rough calculation). I am satisfied with the product and would recommend it for at least a try.

It easily creates foam, which maintains the right texture throughout the shaving process. Very good properties, smoothness, protection...
The scent is not very strong and does not linger after shaving.

However, it has one (subjective) negative. It has a VERY strong scent of bitter almond. If you like the smell of Amaretto, you will love it.
If not (like me!) do not prefer it!!

Excellent soap, with rich foam and top/discreet aroma. It easily and quickly creates thick foam with very good protection and slipperiness. Soft soap for easy application either directly on the face or in a bowl.

Economical soft soap. It easily creates a rich lather and the tallow helps the razor glide smoothly. Among the soaps under 10€, it is the most honest one.
The scent didn't impress me as almond is not one of my favorites.

In terms of its price, it is unbeatable.
Soft soap, not cream, with animal fat that provides excellent slip and protection.
And that scent of almond and cherry, as soon as you open the lid...
If someone starts with a soap, this should be their main choice.
Its packaging is no longer the one in the picture but the one I am posting.
Load it from the bowl onto the brush, with 20-30 swirls, and then dipping the edge of the brush in water, create the lather either in another bowl or on the face (gradually adding 3-4 drops of water or dipping the edge of the brush in water again) until it reaches the texture of strained yogurt, working the lather on the face.

I have had the product for about a month, using it almost daily. Very nice scent, very good price, makes a nice velvety lather. Seeing the condition of my skin the next day, which is very soft and without irritations, I am very satisfied with the moisturizing-care that this cream provides

The best shaving cream (in texture it resembles more soap) for this price. Its scent is simply wonderful. Very good protection. Easy and dense foam.

For its price, there is no better option for dry skin. Even soaps that cost twice as much do not offer anything better than this one.
P.S. It would be good to place it in a larger diameter bowl + boar bristle brush
