Description

With this edition of the Grammar-Syntax of the ancient Greek language for Gymnasium students, we are trying to offer teenagers who come into contact with the ancient Greek language for the first time a valuable guide to familiarize themselves with ancient Greek and to stop seeing the texts taught in school as a "foreign language". Undoubtedly, the grammatical recognition of the words we encounter in the texts of important historians, rhetoricians, poets, and philosophers will help us better translate the text into Modern Greek and be fascinated by the ideological background of the texts of the Attic dialect, which is the basis for our language and has also influenced and continues to influence the art and science of the West to this day.

Following the example of the school curriculum for Gymnasium, the material is divided into three parts and the units of the textbook are analyzed with a multitude of examples and observations, which will be supplementary to the creative teaching process, helping not only the student but also the philologist of Secondary Education to become more methodical and to instill a passion for knowledge in their students.
