Inverter Technology

Thanks to Inverter technology, it maintains a stable temperature and lower consumption compared to standard instant water heaters as it uses only the necessary power to heat the water to the desired temperature.

Installation

It is central and can be used either as the main option for heating the domestic water in your home, or as a supplementary option. It can provide hot water throughout the house for your daily needs, as long as there are suitable pipes for the distribution of hot water. This may potentially result in heat and energy losses due to the distance.

It has two main installation methods, free flow and line (pressure). Additionally, the Solcore instant water heater can be connected in a hybrid series with the solar water heater, with solar collectors, with the central heating boiler, or with the hot water from the gas boiler.

Digital Display

It is equipped with a built-in digital display that shows you the water temperature and also gives you the option to select it yourself.

What is an instant water heater?

The instant water heater is a type of water heater that heats water in real-time. It heats only the water that passes through it at that moment. There is no hot water storage tank. This has many advantages, such as energy savings, since only the water that is used is heated, and longer lifespan, as there is no water tank and no accumulation of salts in the resistance and other components.

It operates with electricity and is single-phase.

How It Works

The instant water heater has a cold water inlet pipe, which passes through the resistance, heats up, and exits through the hot water outlet pipe. A necessary condition for the instant water heater to initially operate is the pressure of the cold water inlet must not be too low.

The water temperature is regulated by a thermostat, so it does not exceed a maximum value. The temperatures reached by the hot water are pre-set so that one can use the hot water directly, without needing to mix it with cold water.

The maximum temperature that can be reached for hot water production is 55 °C, while the maximum water flow rate reaches up to 3.3 liters per minute. Indicatively, 38-42 °C degrees are standard for shower use.

Advantages of instant water heaters compared to traditional electric water heaters

  • It is small in size and does not take up much space.
  • There are no energy losses, as only the water being used at that moment is heated. Therefore, we save on the electricity bill. In a traditional water heater, the hot water that is not used goes to waste.
  • The hot water used in the instant water heater is used as is, without mixing with cold, as happens in a traditional water heater. Thus, we also save water, in addition to electricity.
  • There is no need to wait for the water to heat up. As soon as we turn on the tap, hot water flows in a few seconds. The traditional water heater takes a few minutes, depending on its size.
  • The hot water never runs out. As long as we have the tap open, we will have hot water.

    I bought it as the central heating for the bathroom, sink, and kitchen. The necessary polytubing was installed to ensure a stable temperature as much as possible. I can say that I am very satisfied with the heating speed, even when it's 0 degrees outside. With low flow setting, it provides satisfactory water flow at 45 degrees to take a warm bath in the 7 kW setting, of course! During the summer months, you can use fewer kW. Incredible luxury of hot water at any moment, both on the phone and in the shower! The only negative is that because I have connected it to the kitchen, if someone uses hot water in the kitchen while I'm taking a bath, there is a loss of pressure and the temperature drops abruptly. So, I recommend it only for use in the bathroom and sink, maximum.

    First of all, we would like to inform you that the product is entirely made in China and simply manufactured for a Greek company (which is okay, as it happens with almost all products). We can tell from the certifications listed on the side.

    We have three identical products in different households. In my case, the distance from the water supply is the greatest, around one meter, and all of them are connected with a spiral hose.

    First, you should know that the spirals have plastic material inside, which reduces the diameter of the interior, resulting in higher pressure compared to any other connection (black plastic pipe with a fitting)!!!

    So, in the other households where the water supply is closer to the device and obviously has smaller spirals, it has been proven that they have satisfactory pressure and hot water temperature. Unfortunately, in my case, this small difference in distance (it couldn't be placed closer) creates low water pressure in proportion to the satisfactory hot water for taking a shower!

    Therefore, if you believe that you cannot install it next to a water supply, it is better to look for something else. Otherwise, you will have to pay extra to have the water supply transferred to a more desired location.

    It is an excellent machine. It maintains a stable temperature. I had a previous model from the same company, which lasted for 5 years. The resistor needed to be replaced. Unfortunately for me, I bought the new one because the replacement part plus shipping costs were too high. The same company gave me a very good price for the old one with a trade-in. It's like I fixed the old one and made it better. I highly recommend it to you!
