Ideal for small businesses and homes that want to install security IP cameras that receive power through PoE (Power Over Ethernet) with the 802.1af protocol. It has four PoE ports and four regular ports. Sturdy metal construction. Does not heat up at all. From one of the most reliable networking product companies.
