The Pentax PM-80 centrifugal surface pump pumps clean water for domestic and public use, as well as for water supply, irrigation and garden watering. It can be used in pressure-boosting systems and operates on a single-phase 230 V power supply.

Its housing is made of cast iron, its shaft of AISI 416 stainless steel and its impeller of brass. It features a ceramic-graphite mechanical seal, a two-pole motor with thermal protection, an IP44 protection rating and insulation class F. It is suitable for water temperatures of 0–90 °C.
