Ναι, ο controller είναι monitoring tool, δεν είναι απαραίτητος για τη λειτουργία του access point :)

Το cnotroller ειναι απαραιτητο για παραπανω απο μια ubiquity συσκευη στο δυκτιο. Αλλα για ενα access point μονο οχι.
O OP ρώτησε αν είναι απαραίτητο να τρέχει 24/7 και η απάντηση είναι όχι, ανεξάρτητα του αν έχεις μία ubiquiti συσκευή ή 10. Το unifi controller χρειάζεται μόνο για να σετάρεις αρχικά τις συσκευές σου και για monitoring αργότερα, τίποτα παραπάνω.
