The main axes of this work were the development of preschool children's vocabulary (dependent variable) and effective teaching (independent variable) in kindergarten.
The study of the first axis, which was based on the following views, focused on vocabulary development and its necessity in the school context.
In the second axis, the concept of effective teaching was examined through the lens of Vygotsky's social constructivism, considering the Project method as a "tool" in the educational process, given that its content aligns with the views of this theory.
The development of a child's vocabulary does not merely mean an increase in the number of individual words they know, or the simple improvement of the accuracy with which they assign names to objects. It implies much more, as it accompanies fundamental changes in the ways the child relates words to each other and to the contexts in which they use these words.
