It does indeed leave a matte velvet finish, however, its scent is unpleasant, smelling something strongly metallic, possibly from its c content. I will not use it because I cannot tolerate this scent.

It leaves a powdery result after use. I have oily skin but it didn't cause me any breakouts. The texture of the skin improved after the second week of use. Specifically, it helped with enlarged pores. Dark marks from old scars and pimples appear fainter, nothing significant but definitely more time is needed. Perfect combination of this cream with ascorbic acid and alpha arbutin. I would buy it again.
