The ABUS Terxon SX alarm control panel supports up to 10 wired detector zones, with tamper monitoring and NC/DEOL wiring. It allows up to 4 keypads to be connected via the RS485 bus and up to 10 users to be registered. It supports 1 area and up to 3 sub-areas.

Power is supplied by a 230 V AC mains connection, and there is space for a 12 V DC, 7 Ah backup battery. The device has a metal enclosure, a two-line alphanumeric LCD display, and a 350-event memory. An external dialler is required for alarm transmission.
