Description

The Forensics Detectors FD-CAR002 standalone detector detects carbon monoxide in aircraft and vehicles, such as school buses, trucks, and fleet vehicles. It uses an electrochemical sensor and activates an alarm at low CO concentrations: at 9 ppm with a red LED and at 25 ppm with a 70 dB audible buzzer. The alarm provides visual and audible alerts, as well as vibration.

Detection is by diffusion, with no pump, and the device is operated with a single button. It includes a 3M adhesive mount, a durable case, and a key ring for replacing the batteries. The package contains two pre-installed CR2032 batteries, two spare CR2032 batteries, a plastic mounting case with adhesive, a keychain with strap, and a user manual.
