The Forensics Detectors FD-101-CO standalone carbon monoxide detector measures CO concentrations using an electrochemical sensor and diffusion sampling, without a pump. It features a buzzer, red LED and vibration alerts, as well as a monochrome LCD with backlight. Its housing has a rubber coating, while its IP67 protection and resistance to drops from a height of 10 feet make it suitable for demanding environments.

The sealed lithium battery and sensor have a service life of 24 months. TWA, STEL and instantaneous alarm thresholds can be adjusted via infrared communication with a computer and management software. The detector is supplied with a user manual, calibration cap, metal belt clip and calibration certificate.
