The Tramontina Spezia Induction shallow casserole has a 3 mm-thick aluminum body that distributes heat quickly and evenly. Its Starflon Excellent non-stick interior coating is PFOA-free, INMETRO-certified and rated Class A for non-stick performance. The Bakelite handles have a soft-touch finish for a secure, non-slip grip and protection from heat.

The casserole comes with an aluminum lid and a nylon knob. Before first use, wash it with a soft sponge and mild soap, dry it, then coat the inside with a little oil and heat it over low heat for 1–2 minutes. Once cool, wash it again. To care for the coating, hand washing and utensils made of silicone, nylon or wood are recommended. Cook over low or medium heat, up to 260 °C.
