The Alpine APF-X300VW is a digital CAN-Bus interface with a steering wheel control adapter for VW, Seat and Skoda vehicles. It transfers information from the CAN-Bus network to a compatible Alpine aftermarket display and retains control via the vehicle’s factory steering wheel buttons, including volume adjustment, track or station selection, and call management. It also supports activating voice assistants such as Siri using the corresponding steering wheel button.
It can display information on the factory multifunction display, such as station names, song titles, caller details and navigation arrows. For a few seconds, the Alpine display shows climate control settings, including temperature, air conditioning status, fan speed and seat heating, as well as a visual representation of the factory parking sensors. The pre-wired harness with a factory Quadlock connector installs without cutting the vehicle’s wiring.
