Characteristics of Bureyskaya Viburnum: Bureyskaya Viburnum, also known as Manchurian Viburnum, is a honey-producing shrub. Its name derives from the collection area, the Bureya Mountains, characteristic of the Russian Far East, northeastern China and Korea, where it is traditionally used in herbal medicine. Its seed oil is distinguished by its rich composition of polyunsaturated fatty acids, phenolic compounds, tocopherols and carotenoids, creating a natural bioactive complex.

Mechanism of action in visual function: The visual system is particularly vulnerable to oxidative stress. The retina, which contains high concentrations of polyunsaturated fatty acids, is constantly exposed to photochemical attacks by free radicals produced by light exposure. The lutein and tocopherols in Bureyskaya Viburnum oil neutralize these free radicals and help maintain the integrity of photoreceptors.

Support for cell health: The cell membrane is the primary protective barrier of every cell. Polyunsaturated fatty acids provide building blocks for membrane renewal and restoration of their function. Phenolic compounds act as cell protectors, preventing the harmful effects of reactive oxygen species.
