I bought this cooler after quite a bit of research, while I was deciding between this one and a similar Corsair solution. In the end I chose this one and I can say that I was quite satisfied with the choice.

Installation is generally quite easy and I didn’t run into any particular problems. The only point that needs a little attention is the thick fabric cables that come with the cooler — they are high-quality and sturdy, but they don’t bend that easily, so especially in smaller cases you may need a bit more patience to route them neatly or mount it upside down and do proper cable management.

Also, at first I was surprised that when it was installed there was a small gap and it looked like it wasn’t making 100% contact as I expected. I looked into it though and in the end there is absolutely no issue — as long as there is proper contact at the center point of the processor, it works normally.

As for noise, there is some truth here: if you set the fans to run at full speed, they do get fairly loud. It’s not excessive or annoying, but it is noticeable. On the other hand, in normal mode it is really very quiet and in everyday use you almost don’t notice it.

Where it really left me completely satisfied, though, is with temperatures. I ran quite a few stress tests to see how it behaves and the highest temperature I saw was around 60–62°C, without the fans even running at full speed.

In gaming the results were even better. Even in heavier AAA games with ray tracing and everything generally on ultra, with Spotify, Discord, Instagram and Telegram open in the background, I personally didn’t see temperatures above 60°C. Of course, my case also helps because it has good airflow and plenty of fans, but the cooler does an excellent job.

In addition, the management software is easy to use, the lighting has many options and modes, and aesthetically it looks really beautiful inside the build.

Overall I am completely satisfied with the performance, the appearance and the temperatures. I haven’t encountered any problems and so far it has exceeded my expectations.

Rating: 9.5/10
(half a point only because in full mode it gets a little noisier and the cables need a bit of care during installation).

Very good, for those who install the liquid cooler on AM4, don't be alarmed when you see that 5% of the processor on top is not covered by the cooler. That's how it is, the offset is changed for better cooling on the hot spots of AM4.

After about 1 month of use in a system:
Installation: front-mount with pull fans (no push from the front)
MOBO: X470 MSI Carbon Gaming Pro
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
CASE: NZXT H500i

Idle, because Ryzen processors always run at their maximum, depending on the setting I'm at around 40~ degrees with room temperature at 24~

Gaming: (2K 27' 144hz)
DayZ (Extreme graphics), 60-65 degrees
Battlefield 6 (Overkill graphics), 60~ degrees.

Generally, in various other games I tested, it's around 60~
I didn't do a Stress Test, I don't know, many people say 70-75~

- In my system I also have the same type of fan for exhaust (1 rear & 1 top)

We all know the NZXT H500i is one of the cases with the worst airflows. If the installation was done in another case with better "intake", the results might have been even better.

Good evening, so below I am giving you a mini presentation of the cooler in the upgrade we did on Mpampoun's PC.

The Arctic Freezer III Pro 240 is one of the most powerful 240mm AIOs you can get right now, with performance that easily reaches high-end levels and a very good price/performance ratio, but at the cost of increased noise at full speed and some attention needed to the pump.

The Freezer III Pro 240 uses an improved block and pump compared to the previous Liquid Freezer II, aiming for higher performance on modern Intel and AMD processors, including LGA1700/1851 and AM4/AM5. (We installed it on AM5)

- Noise and VRM shielding
The P12 Pros reach up to 3000rpm and can become noticeably noisy if running at 100%, so it practically "asks" for a custom fan curve from BIOS or software to keep a balance between noise and temperatures.

- Quality, compatibility, and installation
The kit comes pre-assembled (fans already on the radiator) and with a single cable for much cleaner cable management, which makes setup much easier in mid-tower builds. Arctic provides official support for Intel LGA1700/1851 and AMD AM4/AM5, with much improved mounting that better covers the hotspots of modern CPUs.

- Price, value for money
Cooling performance: High-end 240mm levels, easily for high-end CPUs at stock or light OC
Noise: Very good at mid RPM, noticeable at full RPM (fans + pump).
Compatibility: Intel LGA1700/1851, AMD AM4/AM5 with improved mounting.
Additional features: VRM fan, thick radiator, P12 Pro, clean cable management.
Value: Worth it at €77

For use in a gaming/streaming PC or workstation with a powerful CPU, it is an excellent choice if you don't mind adjusting curves a bit to limit noise and the pump. If your priority is absolute silence instead of maximum performance, you might be interested in AIOs with more "mild" fans from the factory, but usually with slightly worse temperatures.
